Ingredients:
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup candied mixed fruit
(other fruit may be used also.
I had some candied mixed fruit left
over from Christmas that I used
for my fruit cakes)
1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
1 large egg
1/4 cup Irish Cream liqueur
1/4 cup milk
- Whisk together the flours, baking powder, sugar and salt.
- Cut the butter into the flour.
- In another bowl, mix together the mixed fruit, chopped cranberries, egg, Irish Cream liqueur, and milk.
Roll the dough, about 1/2" thick, out on a floured surface
and cut into squares.
Place on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake 425 deg.F for 20-25 minutes.

Let cool on a rack
Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar/icing sugar
3 tbsp Irish Cream (approx)
1 tbsp milk.
Mix the above together with a fork,
it should be thick.

Spoon over bars.
